These aren't campaign promises. These are institutions built, funded, and led by Matthew Wingell—proof that leadership isn't about what you say, it's about what you've already done.

Gina P. Wingell Foundation

National Disability Relief Effort

Founded in honor of Matthew's mother, the Gina P. Wingell Foundation is a national disability relief organization dedicated to helping disabled Americans navigate a broken system. The Foundation provides direct support, advocacy, and crisis navigation for individuals and families dealing with disability, benefits delays, and government bureaucracy.

This isn't charity as usual. It's hands-on, no-nonsense relief work driven by the belief that every disabled American deserves dignity, access, and a system that works for them—not against them.

On Building & Resilience

"I bet on myself, and I bet on the people I believed in."

When I founded Canary Jones Holdings LLP back in 2015, I did what most people are too afraid to do. I convinced five of my closest friends to join me, each bringing something different to the table: marketing, finance, sales, operations, and raw drive. For a moment, it felt like we were unstoppable.

Like most big ideas, we launched with fire. But I didn't yet have the resources, the leadership experience, or the maturity to hold those partnerships together when things got hard. And things did get hard. I've gained friends, lost friends, and watched relationships shift under the weight of ambition. All I ever wanted was to build something meaningful and share the success with the people who started with me.

What surprised me most wasn't the struggle—it was how many people tried to tear us down before we even got started. The doubt, the criticism, the quiet hope that we'd fail. It's wild how loud the noise gets when you decide to build something of your own.

But here's the truth. Every setback sharpened me. Every loss taught me. And I'm still here, building, pushing the vision forward.

This isn't the same company it was in 2015. It's sharper. It's stronger. And it's finally built on a foundation that can support real growth.

Grand American Union

Anti-Establishment Freedom Union

The Grand American Union is a political union for Americans who are tired of being ignored, silenced, and governed by people who don't share their values. It's not a party—it's a union of free citizens demanding accountability, transparency, and the restoration of the republic.

Open to anyone who believes in liberty over control, personal responsibility over government dependency, and the Constitution over political convenience.

Historic Preservation Projects

Gettysburg Diorama · 9/11 Documentary · American Memory

Matthew has been directly involved in the preservation of the Gettysburg Diorama—one of the most significant battlefield memorials in American history. He also produced a 9/11 documentary to ensure the stories of victims and first responders endure.

Historic preservation isn't nostalgia—it's a duty. A nation that forgets its sacrifices loses its way. Matthew is committed to protecting the physical and cultural memory of America's defining moments.

Disease Eradication & Advocacy

Lupus · Autoimmune Disease · Global Eradication

Matthew is a vocal advocate for shifting America's approach to disease from management to eradication. With a particular focus on lupus and autoimmune disorders, he has pushed for national frameworks, written to major health organizations, and challenged the pharmaceutical industry's profit-over-cure model.

The vision is clear: American science and leadership should be driving the global eradication of preventable and chronic disease—not profiting from endless treatment cycles.

On Lupus Eradication

"In every age, a people must decide whether they will accept the suffering before them or rise to end it."

The ultimate aim of treating viral and autoimmune diseases must be nothing less than their global eradication. This is not ambition for its own sake; it is the natural duty of a nation that believes human suffering is neither inevitable nor acceptable.

With that conviction, I am formally submitting a letter to the CEOs of both the Lupus Foundation of America and the Lupus Research Alliance on behalf of the Gina P. Wingell Foundation Inc., urging that we complete and publish a national framework to guide our collective pursuit of the global eradication of lupus as an autoimmune category.

It is a declaration of intent for coordinated action and a promise to every lupus warrior that we will not settle for incremental relief when a cure and ultimate eradication remain within the reach of determined hands.

Anti Foreign War

A Rebuke of Endless Foreign Entanglements

Matthew Wingell stands firmly against unnecessary foreign wars that drain American treasure, cost American lives, and serve the interests of financiers and strategists far removed from the heartlands of this country.

A Rebuke of the War in Iran

"There are moments in the life of a Republic when silence becomes a species of betrayal."

When the burdens laid upon the people grow heavy, when their prosperity wanes, and when distant ambitions are pursued at the expense of the nation's own welfare, it becomes the duty of every free man and woman to speak plainly.

Today, our country is pressed by rising prices, by debts that outstrip our production, and by the quiet suffering of millions who perish each year from diseases that might have been prevented had our resources been better tended. At such an hour, to embark upon a foreign war, one whose purposes remain unclear to the very people who must bear its cost is a course that many view with grave concern.

We believe that government derives its just powers from the consent of the governed. Yet trust in our institutions is non existent. The people see their earnings diminished, their savings strained, and the promises made to them, promises of security in age and care in illness slowly eroded. They witness vast sums dispatched beyond our shores while the needs of our own communities go unanswered. They see fortunes lost through waste and mismanagement, while the guardians of the public purse offer little account.

This conflict serves interests far removed from the hearths and businesses of ordinary Americans but serves the interests of financiers, of distant strategists, of industries that profit from perpetual arms. A Republic cannot endure when its people believe their sacrifices serve everything but their own liberty and wellbeing.

We must recall the wisdom of our forefathers: that no nation can preserve its freedom if it squanders its treasure on distant entanglements while neglecting the health, prosperity, and dignity of its own citizens. A government that forgets this sacred charge is destructive to the very ends for which it was established.

Therefore, let us call upon our leaders to restore prudence, to place the welfare of the people above the ambitions of war. A truly great nation is not measured by the number of its conflicts, but by the care it affords to those who call it home.
